About RunningTours.net

RunningTours.net launched in 2016 by Maastricht Running Tours manager Raoul Spronken. With running tours growing in popularity, he decided to create a platform where runners could find an independently managed running tour anywhere in the world.

Noel Jaminon, also from the Maastricht area in The Netherlands, joined Raoul to help build the RunningTours.Net community in 2016. Noel has worked for several running races and has built websites for a number of running organisations. Until 2020, he was the RunningTour.net webmaster.

Both Raoul and Noel are running fanatics and have run with the same Athletics club for many years. In addition, Raoul has participated in running tours in various other countries and actively reaches out to running guides around the world.

How to Join the Running Tours Network

In addition to helping runners find a running tour guide, RunningTours.Net also helps guides and organisations with their marketing and promotion through the RunningTours.Net social media, newsletter, event promotion and other activities.

Our goal is to build a supportive  community of independent running tour guides and help them grow.

The requirements for running tour organisations to be listed are as follows:

• The running tour guide/organiser must have a website - although we are developing a solution for newbies who aren't comfortable managing their own site (stay tuned for details in coming months).
• It is preferred that the running tour tour/organiser has a Tripadvisor account so that customers can check out reviews. You need to have 3 or more recent and good Tripadvisor reviews to become a part of our network.
• The running tour guide/organiser must be actively promoting their running tours - otherwise we can't share your social media, etc.

In exchange, we ask that all members of RunningTours.net place the RunningTours.Net logo on their website.

We are planning more functionalities to RunningTours.Net in the coming months for which we might need your input or cooperation. In the meantime, Running Tour organisations who want to add or modify their listing or have suggestions for RunningTours.Net can send a mail to info@runningtours.net

NOTE: All running tours on our website are run by independent tour operators. RunningTours.Net is in no way responsible for the excecution of the running tour. We will however show only show active Running Tour organisations that offer consistently well reviewed tours.
